Guardians of the Community
MISSION: Educate, bring awareness and connect communities with resources needed to be sustainable.
VISION: To transform the culture of awareness and opportunities in rural communities by educating them on social justice, equality health and real change
Our cause is to take advantage of resources and opportunities that would otherwise be missed due to lack of information and direction.
- Our goals include connecting the young with the old, giving the old back what they lost while supplying the youth something they never knew they had, self-identity and pride. We will do this with THE KINGVILLE PROJECT.
- Our short term goal is to continue our quarterly ECONOMIC MOBILITY WORKSHOPS, our CONSERVATION, PRESERVATION and CELEBRATION campaigns and preserve the first black school campus in Albemarle, NC, documented as “The Stanly County Training School” locally known as “The Old School House”,
- A long-term goal is a new KINGVILLE S.T.E.A.M & TRADE SCHOOL ACADEMY. The new KINGVILLE SCHOOL will host curriculums for SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS, MATHEMATICS and APPRENTICESHIPS for students and re-entry citizens. The new KINGVILLE ACADEMY will be a legacy for generations to come.
