As we prepare students and families for another successful school year, the Stanly Avengers are proud to support the Community Day & Back-to-School Event at Amherst Garden Park. This event represents more than school supplies—it illustrates the power of community collaboration. Neighbors, nonprofits, businesses, churches, and local leaders unite to support our youth and strengthen our community. Families can enjoy free school supplies and backpacks (while supplies last), community resource vendors, family-friendly activities, food, and opportunities to connect with organizations serving Stanly County year-round. Our mission is centered on preservation, education, leadership, and community empowerment. This event showcases our commitment to preserving our future as much as our history. We encourage community members to attend, volunteer, donate, or simply show support. Together, we build stronger neighborhoods—one family at a time.
